About FounderMath

FounderMath provides clear startup finance calculators for founders raising capital. The goal is to make common fundraising math transparent, fast, and educational.

The site is built calculator-first: inputs and results come before long explanations, formulas are shown in plain English, and assumptions are documented instead of hidden in a spreadsheet.

What FounderMath is for

What FounderMath is not

FounderMath is not a cap table platform, law firm, accounting firm, investment advisor, broker, or fundraising advisor. Calculators are simplified educational models and should not be used as a substitute for reviewing actual financing documents with qualified counsel and advisors.

Review process

Calculator logic is implemented in deterministic modules with automated tests. Browser behavior is tested with Playwright before launch. Finance-adjacent pages include disclaimers and link to source categories on the Sources page.
